Since 2019, REEF Encounters has brought national conversations on culture and the environment into a rural space in Akkar, through cinema, arts and public engagement. Its 8th edition, “The Land and Its Keepers,” explores the people and living systems that sustain the land: farmers, women, activists, artists, communities….at a time of ongoing environmental emergency in Lebanon.
