In 2022, as part of an extension of REEF’s activities, a Storytelling for Climate Lebanon was organized in Kobayat, Lebanon, by AFLAMUNA and Greener Screens, in association with DOC SOCIETY’S Climate Story Lab. During this environmental day, selected filmmakers had the opportunity to present their films to activists, subject matter experts, and potential allies to realize their projects and how to take the impact of their films to another level.

This was a first step to build collaborations and future mutual work between filmmakers, environmental experts, and activists. In 2023, the Biodiversity and Cinema project will serve as an accomplished example of this initaitive.
