In 2021, following a call for proposals by REEF under the theme of waste, 17 Lebanese short films were selected for the third edition of the short film competition. These films were showcased at the historic Silk Factory during REEF Encounters 2021, where a distinguished jury of cinema and environmental professionals convened to honor two winning films and grant special mentions to two others.
