It supports women from displaced, refugee and host communities across Lebanon to tell their own stories and to gain visibility for the work they already do: from filmmaking to farming, foraging, food production and traditional crafts. The project combines a creative filmmaking mentorship, where women create with the help of mentors their own short documentaries, with a series of community events and markets that connect women producers to audiences, buyers and lasting opportunities. Alongside these, creative workshops for girls extend storytelling skills to a younger generation. Through film, craft and shared knowledge, Land is Woman highlights women&#8217;s role in caring for the land, sustaining their communities and contributing to social cohesion and recovery.
