The program aims to be a space for encounter and reflection, where art, culture, environment, and heritage come together to inspire collective thinking about sustainable living in South Lebanon.
The South is distinguished by its biological and human diversity, its rich cultural heritage, and its deep-rooted traditions that form the unique fabric of Lebanese identity. Yet, its historical steadfastness faces a harsh reality marked by displacement, ecocide, and the ongoing destruction of villages and cultural landmarks due to daily Israeli agressions, all amid internal political negligence.
In response to this reality, “Taleen Ala Jnoub” (Heading South) is a program of collaborative events that joins the courageous initiatives led by Lebanon\u2019s social and civic fabric, especially in the South, through an artistic, cultural, and environmental program focused on the deep connection to land, ecology, and sustainable practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
